Email Marketing
One of my favorite aspects of business is marketing. I found and explored the avenue of email marketing just out of college, when a colleague and I were reminded of the 1980’s daily email drips from Campbell’s Soup, as we looked to build out own marketing model and path forward. If you don’t know the reference to the emails, they sent out a daily email that offered a recipe, which included one of their soups as an ingredient. These emails were sent at a time in the afternoon when parents where beginning to think about what was for dinner. Brilliant. Fast-forward, ten years later, when I left this position to open my own business, we had over 9,000 email subscribers that were accustomed to receiving an email on a weekly basis.
I took this knowledge and experience into my own business. With practice, I learned how to drill down the content, make better connections with customers, and earn subscriber trust. I’m proud to have grown the subscribers list in my own business, to over 20,000 members; approximately 128 people joined every month.
It’s not rocket science, but it takes a creative strategy; some well-articulated buckets, access to excellent photos, a good platform from which to execute, and a storyteller.
There are all kinds of custoers our there and I am excited to work on and build B2C or B2B campaigns. I know I can help steady and grow your business through this aspect of marketing. I’d love to hear from you. Please share with me a little about your company and when you’d like to get started.
